 Since
1976, my first entry in stock market, I have been hearing this:
Stock market is phatka, speculation, gambling.
And it
was. Till 1994 when I learnt the new technologies to analysis
the price movements brought by the FIIs in 1994 in the wake of liberalisation.
But by 2000,
things have changed. Positional trading has been replaced by
Futures and Options, Intraday trading...
I found the old
knowledge and techniques were inadequate to trade in the new
systems. A whole new analysis system had to be developed to cope
with Intraday trading, specially. Which also called for new
software unlike the ones that were having only yesterday's
chart, not live charts of NOW.
I didn't invent anything new. It was all
there in the market. Happening every day. You need to just know
which combinations to use.
Almost 120 years ago Charles H Dow, the Founder Editor of Wall
street Journal, claimed in one of his unsigned columns to have
discovered how stock prices went up and down - in waves - which
he called trends. It was the first major discovery that lead to
the beginning of a whole new way of analysing the stock market:
Technical Analysis.
Over the last 10 years I have also
discovered several parameters that lead to price to go up and
down. This includes 3 price signals that lead to Up moves and 3
Down moves. I also discovered 4 pointers - price signals that
may not directly lead to an increase or decrease in price but
more like supportive to the original Buy /Sell signals.
Indicating the strength of the movement so that you can be
forewarned.
There were two major discoveries. One that
signals market reversal anywhere between 4 minutes to 24 minutes
in advance. Secondly, once the market had reversed, you will be
able to know for certain, 100% accurately, which levels the
market will move.
If you still can't make
money from Intraday trading with these tools to help you, you
should not be in stock market. Find some other career. Like
teaching or something :)
