'Conventional Technical Trend analysis is really useless. At
any point, 50% of the indicators will show 'Buy'
while other 50% show 'Sell'. So you are reduced to
speculating which one would work.' |

I
don't teach Technical Trend Analysis. I
teach how to make money using
PRISM Intraday
Trading system.
Technical Trend Analysis is a fine system.
But the problem is, it is subjective to a
great extent. It often depends on the
interpreters perception. The same technical
scene is available to every analyst. But
listen to them talking/writing: some says it
is the right time to buy. Some says the bull
run is over so sell off now before it is too
late. Whom to believe?
Secondly, a variety of software and hundreds
of indicators developed by individual
researchers over the century has made it
complicated and unreliable. At any point of
time, the same stock is on 'Sell' by one set
of indicators and 'Buy' on another set.
Also, most technical analysis software
used here, almost every indicator being used
by analysts were built on research done on
traditional positional trading. How reliable
are these for Intraday trading? About 50%
only.
I wanted to build a system that will be
absolutely reliable, works most of the time
and is easy to understand so that the
subjective part is removed. There should be
minimum of indicators. Also, I wanted all
indicators to point to the same conclusion
instead of creating further confusion.
The first system was
built in 2003, was called Dus-Disha (because
it had 10 buy/sell signals) and was tested
and found to be 75% perfect.
Over the next one year, my research
continued and finally
PRISM was born in 2005, with only FOUR
signals - 2 for Buy and 2 for Sell - and had
a fantastic 98% accuracy on one of its Buy
signal.
See the
charts here.
The system has been built on the trading
platform of India Infoline but can be used
on any online trading system which supports
live intraday data and charting.
Beside the technical analysis part,
PRISM
Intraday Trading system incorporates an
intraday trading strategy, loss control
methodology and a unique
